Software is Dead

Software is Dead is a Flutter app — a sandbox of small, personal tools — with one unusual property: change requests are part of the interface. From inside the app you file a note — an idea, a bug, a request for an entirely new mini-app — and it goes to Claude Code, which implements it while you carry on using the app. The two sides communicate only through human-readable files.

It runs on macOS and iOS and is in daily use in my household. Most of what it now contains — a bake journal, a stoic journal, an agenda, travel tools — was requested from inside the app and built by the agent, with a full audit trail of every request.
